Having worked with David closely in Edmonton for some time and had the privilege of having shared a cab of a truck with him numerous times to which was usually filled with laughter. I learned of Dave's passion for hockey and the nickname of Digger he had received for his knack at being able to dig in and get the puck. Always full of energy Dave was able to make dark times seem brighter, his ability to strike of a conversation and make an impression was felt deeply by many who had the honor to meet him. In Fort Mac especially Dave's passing has left a mark where friends he had met were devastated to learn he is no longer with them. Dave will be missed, but perhaps not his love for the Ottawa Senators.

To Cathy Egan and Jennifer Dawson The graveside service was lovely, a little chilly but beautiful with the snow softly falling and Father Paul delivering the eulogy. It was well attended by David's family and friends. The photo video was watched most intently by David's buddies who thoroughly enjoyed the pictures of the various sports events they all participated in. The smiles were wide and it was almost like David was smiling back at them from the video. Kudos to you both for making David's final journey a happy one. Sincerely......Julie Gill
