Sorry to have heard about Karen's recent passing. She was a classmate of mine (at Fisher Heights Public School, Nepean) in the late 1960s.
I've attached two class photos (the Gr. 2 class pic, 1968-69, has many students) & the Gr. 3 pic (1969-70) is more the usual size of class. You can see Karen standing in the back row (Gr. 2) and seated in the front row (Gr. 3).

So sorry to hear of Karens' passing. I did not know Karen all that long but know that she was the kind of woman that will truly be missed by so many. My heart goes out to John and the entire family.
I was blessed to have the last 20 yrs of friendship with Karen. I have so many fond memories of us laughing uncontrollably, taking a trip to Dominican, birthdays, short road trips, working at OCDSB together and just talking for hours on the phone. She was an amazing woman and best friend.
