For Uncle Carl. A special man and a profound loss for his family. He and Aunt Agathe opened their hearts to us and we will never forget them.

On behalf of the Cox family (Eleanor, Brian, Maureen and a Wayne), we sent our most sincere condolences. Mr. Richie was such a great friend to our father (Don Cox) and we have so many fond memories of great times at the cottage with “The Ritchies”. He was the nicest, kindest, funniest man, and he greatly enriched all of us. Wayne

On behalf of the Writing Group that Carl enjoyed being a part of for many years, I wish to express our deepest sympathies to his family. He will be missed for his many engaging memoirs, snappy pieces of fiction, and insightful commentaries. Carl will be remembered as a true gentleman. He was so proud of his family and spoke highly of them. He had a great outlook on life, an inspiring positive attitude, a deep faith in the powers above, a wonderful sense of humour, and a crafty wit when writing. He was kind and considerate, living a life based on good, old-fashioned values. His spirit will remain with his writing buddies. Beth Beasley, Kanata
