On the evening of March 10, 2026, Rosemary Margaret Shepherd (nee Hales) passed away peacefully with her family at her side. Rosemary was a wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. As a graduate of St. Michael's nursing school, she worked at hospitals in Toronto, Markham, and Ottawa through the course of her career.
She married Bryan and remained happily with him for 65-years. She is predeceased by her brothers Larry, Jerry, and John as well as her son, Larry. Rosemary leaves behind husband Bryan, sister-in-law Barb Howatson, and children Monica/Mia, Paul, and Jim, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
An avid reader, she would easily go through a 400-page tome in a day. Her love of family and friends made her a great chef, full of creativity and style, Her abiding faith was evident in her daily actions. She will be greatly missed.
On Saturday, March 21. 2026 a visitation will begin at 10:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fallowfield, ON, A funeral mass will follow at 11:00AM, and a reception in the parish hall. The mass will be streaming online through St Patrick's website.
