Obituary of Lee (F L) Doddridge (nee McConnell)

Passed away peacefully November 16, 2025 at Bruyere Sainte-Vincent Hospital

Wife of Charlie Doddridge. Daughter of Bus and Jean McConnell. Sister of Ron McConnell. Sister-in-law of John Doddridge, Helen Huva (predeceased) and Bruce Doddridge (predeceased). Aunt of Jeremy McConnell, Nancy Medveduke, Cindy Gladish, Scott Montgomery, Jackie Wogrinetz, Rodney (predeceased), Darius, Matt and Anna Doddridge. Great Aunt of Ben, Spencer and Colin McConnell and many other great nieces and nephews.

She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends, as well as colleagues from her tenure at Statistics Canada, members of the Ottawa Quilting Community, and all her cottage friends at Calabogie Lake.

The family would like to thank the staff at both The Ottawa General Hospital and the Bruyere Sainte-Vincent Hospital for their excellent Care.

As per Lee’s wishes there will only be a private family gathering. For those who wish, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
