Obituary of Carol Hare

Peacefully, in the Palliative Care Unit at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus, Helen Mildred Carol Hare (nee Cole) entered into the presence of her Lord on November 25, 2025. She is survived by her husband Frank, children Eden Christyne Roberta Blackfoot-Hare (Katie), Helen Kimberley Hare, grandchildren Allen and Kaitlin Kirk, Matthew Hare (Sarra Ladouceur), Meagan Kilmartin, and great-grandchildren Alexandria Murray, Eliza Knoll, Brennan Jones, Noah Hare, Rylan Belanger, Owen Trowbridge, Parker and Carter Hare, Mellany Dobson, Bjorn Dobson, brother Neil Cole (Joy) and several sister and brothers-in law as well as nieces and nephews.

Carol was a loving mother and friend who worked for Mutual Life Assurance Company, Williams' Pharmacy, and Bell Street United Church. Carol sang in the church choir for more than 35 years, active in the United Church Women's group at Bell Street United, and a very supportive wife for Frank.

Visitation will be at Pinecrest Visitation Center, 2500 Baseline Road on Sunday November 30th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, with the funeral at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, 971 Woodroffe Avenue, on Monday December 1st 11:00 AM. Private cremation and inurnment to follow.

Donations may be made to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, the Alzheimer's Society or a Charity of your choice.
