Obituary of Michael Robbs

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our, much loved Husband, Father and Papa, Michael Robbs, peacefully in Kanata on December 5th 2025.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Karen, his children who were also his best friends, Patrick, Brendan (Ashley) and Erin and his adored grandchildren Logan, Chloe, Ella, Ava, Olivia and Ivy.

Mike was the most loving, caring and kind man who was very funny with the best sense of humour and had many in laughter in his presence. His most precious 6 grandchildren were the loves of his life. The very best Papa ever.  Mourning his loss is his mother Mary Robbs, his brothers Dave (Mary) and Steve.  Predeceased by his father Allan Robbs. Additionally, his passing is mourned by his loving in-laws, Elieen and the late Gerry Clifton, as well as his close friends in brothers-in-law, Brian Clifton (Bobbie), Glenn Clifton (Shelley), Kevin & Sean (Tammy) Clifton.

Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1489 Shea Road, Stittsville, on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice at 110 McCurdy Drive Kanata, Ontario K2L 2Z6.

Mike was blessed to be cared for by the amazing nurses and staff at the Hospice, as well as his compassionate and kind palliative care physician Dr. Spacek.  He will be so missed!

As Mike would always say, "Bye for now!"
