Obituary of Rita Tait-Hall

It is with deep sorrow to annouce that Rita-May (née Hirtle) Tait-Hall of Ottawa, Ontario passed away peacefully December 30, 2025 at the age of 89.

Rita was born in Nobleville, Saskatchewan March 23, 1936 to Borden and Antoinette "Rose" Hirtle.  Rita was preceded in death eldest sister of Jean, Leonard, Laura and younger sister of Armand.

Beloved wife of the late William Hall and widow of Wilfrid D Tait.

Cherished mother is survived by her daughters Linda and Sylvia and proud grandmother of Douglas, Luke and Lillyan.

A Celebration of Life will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
