Obituary of Donald George Henderson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald George Henderson on December 27, 2025 at the age of 79.  Don was born in Ottawa, Ontario, dear son of the late Lloyd and Margaret Henderson.

Don is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Ghislaine, his son George and grandson Trevor, brothers Ted (late Sue) and Jeff, cousins Judy (Bob), Allen (Lois), Eric, Gail and Lynn (Ted), nephews Adam (Jennifer) and Curtis (Jennifer), nieces Shaunna and Brittany and step sons Joey (Jessica) and Derrick (Anna) and their children.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at St. Maurice Parish, 4 Perry Street, Ottawa. Inurnment and Reception will follow at the Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa. Family and friends are invited to gather and share their memories of Don and the exceptional life he led.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
