Obituary of Stamatina Langis

Passed peacefully at home late Thursday evening past, surrounded by loving family in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Lambros K Langis, beloved mother of Kostantinos, loannis (Oriana), and Dimitros. Cherished Yaya to Lambros and Marcos. Dear sister to George Karagiannis(Angela) and the late Jim Karagiannis. She also leaves behind her dear brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her dearest friend Kleanthi.

Stamatina was born in Rihea, Laconia, Greece on August 30, 1937 and emigrated to Canada in 1960 where she married Lambros and started a new family together. Stamatina loved to cook for all family and friends alike, but had a particular passion for the vegetable and floral gardens which she lovingly and painstakingly cultivated and maintained.
