Obituary of Samantha Clarice Pauline Hicks

With profound sadness and immense love, we remember Samantha Clarice Pauline Hicks, whose vibrant spirit and gentle heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Though her life was far too short, she filled it with laughter, connection, compassion, and made people feel truly seen.

Sam was playfully fun and deeply caring all at once. She was exciting to be around, funny, and full of life, yet she also carried a calm and comforting energy that made others feel safe. She found joy in life’s simple moments like dancing around the house with a beverage in hand, carefully choosing the perfect color schemes for coloring books, or settling in to watch something with a stuffed animal close beside her.

More than anything, Sam loved fiercely. She supported her friends and family at every opportunity, offering affection, encouragement, and understanding without hesitation. She is survived by her two loving partners, her father, her brothers, and her sister, all of whom will carry her memory forward with enduring love. She was reunited in death with her mother Nicole Hicks.

Though words can never fully capture a life so special, those who knew Sam will remember her laughter, her tenderness, her courage, and the comfort of simply being near her. She leaves behind a lasting imprint on countless hearts, and she will be deeply missed every day.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel. Inurnment and Reception to follow.
