To the entire family,I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
It is difficult to put into words how saddened I was to hear of Scott's passing. I had the privilege of working with Scott for the past four years, and during that time he became so much more than a colleague. He was a mentor, a teacher, and someone I genuinely looked up to.
Scott had a remarkable way of guiding others with patience, kindness, and encouragement. He was always willing to share his knowledge, answer questions, and help those around him grow. Much of what I have learned professionally is because of his guidance, and I will always be grateful for the time he invested in me.
What I will remember most, however, is not just his expertise, but the person he was. He brought warmth, smile, humour, and a sense of calm to every situation. He made people feel supported, valued, and welcome. Working alongside him was truly a privilege, and his impact on my life and career will stay with me forever.
Please know that my thoughts are with all of you during this incredibly difficult time. Scott touched the lives of so many people, and his memory will continue to live on through the countless individuals he helped, mentored, and inspired.
He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

To the entire family, I am so deeply sorry for your loss...
I first began to know Scott by way of our street's park, where he was so often found playing and caring for Zoe...then Owen. I was profoundly moved by the hours and hours that he would spend in the sandbox or at the swings and play structures, clearly loving the moments with his kids. My last conversation with Scott, at the park,sums him up for me: he said "I think Zoe is smarter than me..." My response: "I think she is smarter than everyone in the park, Scott.:) So, how lucky she is to have someone who is also so emotionally intelligent and present!"
