Obituary of Judith Filiatrault

We are heartbroken to announce the recent passing of our dear mother, Judith Sandra Filiatrault (Clark) on Saturday June 13 3026 , in Ottawa Ontario at the age of 84. Judy passed peacefully with loved ones by her side after a valiant battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

 

Judy was born in North Bay,Ontario on Nov 26, 1942 and was the third child of James and Antoinette (Billie) Clark. She is survived by her daughter Christine, (former spouse Wayne Woelfle) sons Michael and Robert Scott and daughter -in -law Joanne. She adored her grandchildren; Rebecca ,Benjamin, Zoe and Owen. As well as surrogate grandchildren , Kyle and Kayla Woelfle. She leaves behind her siblings Joann (Bill) Elliott, Sharleen Constantineau, Kevin (Terry), and sister in laws, Debbie (Gord) Gerbassi Lin (Ed) Filiatrault and Dulcie Clark. She is predeceased by her parents, brother-in-law Ed Filiatrault, sister-in law Anita Currie and her dear brother, Bud (Dulcie) Clark, and brother in law Geoff Sykes. We rejoice in the fact that she will be reuniting with the love of her life,husband Russell.

 

Judy will be missed by many nieces and nephews; Kim (Jeramy) Tibbles , Cathy Constantineau, Nicole (Rob) Montgomery , Keith (Jocelyn) Clark , Ian Clark, Spencer Gerbassi , Sheree (Mike) Mann , Sean Filiatrault , Gord and Misty Currie. Mom spent her career as a dedicated public servant with the Federal Government both in New Brunswick and Ottawa which she excelled at. Judy’s greatest pleasures in life were simple.Spending quality time with her family at large, extended family gatherings and holiday feasts in North Bay. She enjoyed the serenity of cottage life . The expansive views of the lake and natural abundant beauty of our cottage in Calabogie as well as fond memories of Tilden Lake in North Bay. Most of all she cherished the time and care she lovingly gave to her grandchildren as they grew. She was much loved and appreciated by all of her grandchildren and has left an incredible imprint in their hearts.

 

A Celebration of life is being held on Saturday June 20 at 3:00pm. All are welcome to share their fond memories and love for Judy.
