Obituary of Christine Gauthier

It is with profound sadness that the family of Christine Gauthier announce her peaceful passing on June 13, 2026, at the age of 79.

Christine will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Shelly (Allan Carroll) and their children, Paige (Jeff), Rachel, and Brandon; Wendy (Todd Giles) and their children Brittany (Brett), Haley, and Abbie (Hayden); and Tracy (Andrew Dods) and their children, Colton and Landon; as well as her great-grandchildren, Aaron, Ethan, Isabelle, Jackson, and Hazel.

Christine was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Bob, in April 2023. She is survived by her sisters, Susan and Diane, and was predeceased by her brothers, Henry and Peter.

Bob and Christine raised their young family on Diamondview Road in Kinburn, Ontario, before building their dream home on Stonecrest Road in Woodlawn. Together, they spent their retirement years creating treasured memories with family and close friends at Ashby Lake.

Family was the heart of Christine's life. She believed life's greatest blessings were found in time spent together—whether gathered around the dinner table, celebrating milestones, or simply sharing the everyday moments that became cherished memories. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Funeral Service will be held at Highland Park Cemetery, 2037 McGee Side Road, Carp, Ontario, on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honour Christine's memory by spending time with those you love, just as she always did.
