Obituary of Suzanne Arbour (née Mitchell)

Born on March 12, 1954, in Ottawa, Suzanne Arbour (née Mitchell) was the beloved daughter of Lois Toll and David Mitchell. She passed away surrounded by the love of her family on July 11, 2026. 

Suzanne is lovingly remembered by her husband, Gerry Arbour; her daughters, Sarah Arbour (Mike), Melissa Arbour (Andrew), and Katie; and her cherished grandchildren, Ella, Bentley, and Morgan. To them, she was simply "Gran." Her family was her life, and her grandchildren were her greatest joy. She loved spending time with them, celebrating their accomplishments, and creating memories they will carry with them forever. She is also survived by her siblings, Nancy, Peter, John, and Ewing. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Robert.

Suzanne had a lifelong passion for staying active. She loved her daily walks, especially those shared with her brother John, and found great joy in teaching step aerobics for many years until illness made it no longer possible

She will be remembered for her love, strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her legacy lives on in the memories she created and the love she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
