David was my wonderful Father-in-law. He was a thoughtful and sensitive soul and gave Lance and me helpful advice on several topics. He and I had good talks. We always managed to get some humour in the conversations! I respected him greatly as my friend and my second Dad. I am pretty sure that he will be around in one way or another. Bless you, my Dear.
Love always, Debbie.

My grandfather was a kind and generous man. He loved little visits, phone calls and emails. He was always curious about what was new in your life and looked forward to asking. He loved his family deeply, and held on to so many wonderful memories of those that had passed. When i was younger he was always feeding everyone dinners, as i got older and it was harder for him to cook he had his fridge stocked with every kind of beverage. He always wanted to care for those around him. He holds a special place in my heart, and anyone's heart that got the time to know him. I love you Grandpa.

Lance & family.
So sorry to hear of David's passing. As you know our families go back a long time here at the lake. I'm sure your Dad was very proud of the lovely landscaping with flowers you have planted around the property. My condolences to you and your family.

My deepest sympathy to all of David's family. I had the privilege of knowing David as his PSW for a long time. During that time, I came to know him as a truly kind, generous, and thoughtful man. He always treated people with warmth and respect, and it was a pleasure to spend time with him.
We shared many laughs together, especially while watching old favorites like Robin Hood and Hopalong Cassidy. I'll always smile when I remember hearing him say, " I went on Spider patrol," or announcing, "It's cookie time." Those little moments, filled with humor and routine, are memories I will always treasure.
David's gentle nature and quiet kindness touched those around him. I feel fortunate to have known him, and I will remember him with great fondness. He will be deeply missed.
Forever in my memories Dave.
With heartfelt thoughts.
Birgit
