Obituary of Michael DeAngelis

DeAngelis, Michael – Passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at the age of 48, after a brief and unexpected illness.

Precious son of Myrna and Ron.  Beloved brother of Matthew (Dominika) and uncle to Emilia.  Beloved nephew of Mary Jane (Alex), Monty (Eileen), Robert, Erminio (Angela).  Cousins Christie, Nick, Jack, Amanda, and Luca.  Grandmother Antonia.  Predeceased by loving Aunt Loreta, Grandmother Winnifred, Grandfathers Elwood, Keith, and Ugo. 

Michael (Mike) will always be remembered for his humour, generosity, kindness, wit and amazing culinary skills.  He brought an energy and spirit into any room he entered that could never be matched.  He was deeply loved by family and friends alike and will be deeply missed.  May heaven match the beauty and happiness of the times he spent at the cottage with friends and family.

A remembrance of Mike’s life will be held in Cole Funeral Services at Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, (613) 831-7122, on Saturday August 8^th, 2026 from 9 AM to 12 noon.
