Dear Evaudney, Dalton, Asha and all in the family:
The news of Anwar passing away is still shocking and sad to me. We have been friends/ family for over 50 years starting from our day as students at Lisgar, etc. Our children are almost the same ages. We shared the joy and challenges of raising kids in Canada.
My earliest memory of Anwar is him as a baby and watching him grow up into a dynamic, amazing young man and dad. Last time I saw him was at your house. His smile and pride of being a dad was incredible. Too bad I am away in Africa and unable to attend the funeral services in person. But I will be with you all in spirit, and will have special prayers for Anwar and you all.
My condolences and love to you all. May God continue to strengthen you during these difficult days.
