I was saddened to hear the loss of an old and dear friend, Barbara Hird.
We worked together for many years on political campaigns in Nepean, supporting our MP Beryl Gaffney and other candidates.
We stayed in touch long after Beryl retired.
Barbara was an essential member of our team, a very hard worker and reliable, committed Liberal.
We all loved working with her and had such fun on the campaigns.
I visited her and Brian last October, reminiscing about our time together and the people we knew.
She was dearly missed by everyone.
Rest in Peace dear friend..my sincere condolences to Brian, Janet, Karen and Myra.
