Cousin Beth brought loving kindness, cheerful humor, practical creativity, sincere faith, and refreshing authenticity to our family. We all loved the time she spent living in our home in Virginia. She was always willing to share her time, talents and heart even making two of us the coolest overalls ever for the church production of "I Am A Promise." Even when we moved far away, visits with Beth were a priority and we will cherish the memories we made with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with Brian, Brian, Bob, and all who loved Beth so deeply. She was a remarkable woman who endured the difficulties of life, especially her battle with cancer, with grace, eternal perspective, and tremendous courage. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.
With love, The Brown Family ~ Fran (Rintoul), Ralph, Susie & Debbie

I feel lucky to have called Beth my friend. I will cherish the moments we shared laughing together. She would somehow find the humour in life's ups and downs. We will miss her always insightful and quick-witted comments during our book club discussions. She leaves a big hole in our group. Here's to you my friend who I'm sure is entertaining the angels with your wit and humour. My condolences to Beth's devoted partner Brian and family.

My Deepest condolences. I was completely shocked when I saw this beautiful photo and then realized that Beth has passed. I enjoyed teaching her sewing for many years and thoroughly enjoyed her visits to our store. She will be sadly missed.

Beth was one of my most cherished friend during her time here in the Washington DC. Along with a bunch of women friends from 4th, we would be together on most weekends, finding mischief to get into. She had many talents; like sewing, cooking, and the gift of hospitality for sure. I was also fortunate to be her singing mate in choir. As a fellow Canadian we proudly wore our poppies on our choir robes, mostly initiated by Beth.
When Beth moved back to Ottawa, friend Connie and I cherished our trips up north to spend Canadian Thanksgiving with her and her family. We loved sitting around after a great feast enjoying the company of her mom and brother Brian, and especially her dad. It was also great meeting and spend time getting to know her friend Brian.
Beth was so blessed to have Brian and his entire family take her into their activities. Thanks for taking such good care of Beth through her cancer battle. So comforting to know that she was surrounded with such love!
So many good memories, and wanting to have more, Beth will be missed.
