Sadly, I’m long overdue in sending my tribute Larry. Many thanks for the friendship you and Marilyn blessed me with during my first days as a fresh immigrant to this wonderful country. You showed me hospitality and helped me adapt to my new life at a time of when I was filled with doubt and insecurity. We drifted apart over the years but I will always remember you and Marilyn with a warm glow of reminiscence. Cheers old friend, you’ve had a rocky road these past few years, time now to rest.

I remember Larry's arrival at First United when we were still on Kent St . He was coming to do his internship with us and I was his supervisor. After a welcome I explained that our first ministry was to go to a senior apartment to exorcise a ghost cat that was troubling her. The rest of the internship was not as unusual. We had many stories we shared each time we met. Blessings to the family who grieve. Sharon Moon
