My deepest condolences on the passing of Nicholas. In this time of sorrow, may comfort be found in the love he shared with his family, especially his children. Though he is no longer physically present, his journey continues in a place of eternal peace, and his legacy will live on through them, guiding and inspiring their future.

I am sending my condolences and love to Nicholas and his family; his two children and their mother Mais- my lovely niece. In these hard times we pray to God for their hearts to know peace in the fact that Nicholas is resting in Heaven’s embrace. You have family and support in us all the way here on the other side of the world whenever you may need it.

My Dear Caspe and Amelia
I am writing to you with a heart full of love, and also with deep sorrow upon hearing of the passing of your father. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences. I know this is a heavy loss, and words may not be enough. But I want you to know that you are not alone
Even though we have not met during the last four years, I have always carried you in my thoughts, and in my heart. I wish I could be closer to you in this difficult time
You are never alone in this world — remember that always.
Your Grandfather Saad

Nicholas was a friend of our son Jonathan (JJ to Nick). They attended St. George elementary together, were teammates on the West Ottawa/St.Anthony soccer leagues, and played pick-up hockey at the Iona rink, which his father,Tim, helped to maintain. They bonded as sports enthusiasts. We lived in the same neighborhood so they were often at each other's house (we have photos of Nicholas with Jonathan at every birthday party, grade one to six, First Communion, etc.). I was an occasional volunteer for school trips and can recall Nicholas turning that mischievous smile into a charming smile in a nano-second! Such a sweet boy could never be up to mischief!! We didn't see him much in the later years but heard he was married with children through our son and their mutual friends. His children were his treasure.
Our sincere condolences to Tania and the entire Dorley family. May your great memories with Ncholas keep you strong and close. God bless, may he rest in peace.

Dearest Dorleys and friends,
I am deeply saddened by Nicholas' death. As his godfather, I recall many good times. His very first birthday, when a chocolate cake was a hit, his trip, on his own, at age 12, visiting me in Winnipeg to see the Montreal Canadiens/Winnipeg Jets hockey game, cooking together on St-Denis Street, his visit with us in Akumal, Mexico in 2005, etc. May your own good memories carry you all through this difficult time and beyond. Although his path has not been an easy one, may his "philosophical" spirit be with us all as life goes on.
With love,
Michel
