




Obituary of Roslyn Annette Richins
It is with sorrow, yet growing peacefulness that we announce the passing of Roslyn Annette Richins (nee Workman) on April 9, 2025, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Barbados to John and Eva Workman in 1946, Roslyn ventured to Ottawa, Canada to attain post secondary education. She graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and worked mainly in Information Technology.
Devoted wife of Clen Richins. Loving mother of Evan. Stepmother to Anne and Leon. Predeceased by her loving siblings Glynn, John, and Maureen. She is survived by Hetty, Addison, Janet, and Hayden. She will be missed by her grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family in North America and throughout the Caribbean.
Roslyn will be remembered for her love of gardening, festive holiday cooking, and engaging conversation.
A Celebration of Life Service for Roslyn will be held on Saturday May 3rd, 2025 at 11am at the Pinecrest Remembrance Centre. We invite you to attend. Those wishing to attend virtually may do so through this link.
