Sorry to have heard about Karen's recent passing. She was a classmate of mine (at Fisher Heights Public School, Nepean) in the late 1960s. I've attached two class photos (the Gr. 2 class pic, 1968-69, has many students) & the Gr. 3 pic (1969-70) is more the usual size of class. You can see Karen standing in the back row (Gr. 2) and seated in the front row (Gr. 3). My condolences to all family members. Doug Cumming

Our thoughts and condolences are with you and your family right now. Although we didn’t know Karen well, we much appreciated her and Johnny’s generosity the times we stayed at their house in Otter Lake. These moments gave us a good sense of your down to earth and generous family. We regret not being able to come to the memorial and will be thinking very much about you in the days to come. I was blessed to have the last 20 yrs of friendship with Karen. I have so many fond memories of us laughing uncontrollably, taking a trip to Dominican, birthdays, short road trips, working at OCDSB together and just talking for hours on the phone. She was an amazing woman and best friend.
