Obituary of Joan Reveler

Peacefully on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, Joan Reveler (nee Smirle) in her 89^th year.   Beloved wife for 69 years of Bert Reveler.  Loving mother of Nancy (Keith Jeacle) and Donna (Alan Reid).  Proud grandmother to Brett (Michelle), Kirsten, Alex (Kari) and Connor (Isabelle) and great-grandmother to Maeve.

Daughter of the late Jake and Alice Smirle nee Summers).  Dear sister of Muriel McRae (late Clare).  Predeceased by sisters Vera Boothe, Joyce Styles (Joan’s twin), Fern York and her brothers Wilson and Eldon Smirle.

Fondly remembered by many relatives and friends.

Many thanks to the compassionate staff at Perley Health (Ottawa East wing) for the wonderful care she received.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, 11:00 am, at Emmanuel United Church, 691 Smyth Road, Ottawa.  Reception to follow.
