Bob and Linda have been wonderful neighbours for over 30 years, and we were saddened to hear the news about Bob.
Over the years, Bob always made time for my boys. He loved to provide a tale of his latest adventure or his model submarine drama, including the occasional deep-sea rescue he had to make.
Our 2 dogs also loved it when we stopped to chat because Bob always had a loving pet and hearty scratch for them.
Bob was a fixture of our community, well loved and will be missed by all. We will especially miss the Battle of Ontario talks and those twinkly eyes. Our thoughts are with you Linda, Keith, Karen and Byron

I am not able to be here today but Bob will always be with me, my older brother. My memories of him while growing up made me want to be like him. That short ride he gave me on the back of his friend's motorcycle probably had an influence on me having owned 5 bikes over the years. His ability to build things or take something apart and fix it inspired me to become a millwright. I teased him on his birthday with cards about being old, but that meant to me that he had more knowledge and wisdom, in spades. Whenever I needed help with a problem he was only a phone call away and always had a solution to my question. With him living in Nepean and me in Hamilton we didn't get to see each other as we would have liked to. On visits and holidays together , those fun times are forever etched in my mind. There are no words that can describe how much you will be missed. R.I.P. Bob, I love you , Al
