Obituary of Monique Forsberg

Suddenly, on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Terry Strong. Loving companion of Barry Belanger. Devoted mother to Chad (Jenn), Ashley (Kyle), and Sam (Jena). Cherished Nana to Lainey, Lacey, Waylon, Emmersyn, Brooke, and Mason. Monique was also a beloved sister to her thirteen siblings, and a dear friend to many.

Monique had a deep love for life, especially her time spent at the cottage. She embraced each day with joy and gratitude. Her infectious smile, boundless energy, and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Fitzroy Harbour Community Association, 100 Clifford Campbell Street, Fitzroy Harbour.

In lieu of flowers, donations to CHEO (Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario) in Monique’s memory would be appreciated.
