Obituary of Egon Wieser

(Retired member IBEW Local 586)

Born November 24, 1930 in Salzburg, Austria. Passed away peacefully at home on May 21, 2025. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 59 years, Edith and daughter Linda. He is survived by his children Michael (Betty), Jeffrey (Penny).  Affectionately known as Opa to his two special granddaughters Jamey (Justin) and Jenna (Wilder). His great grandchildren Jeffrey and Mackenzie. Special thanks to his support team for their daily care over the last few years. Any donations in his memory can be made to The Ottawa Humane Society. A private funeral service has taken place.
