Obituary of Laura Farr

Laura Mary Farr, lovingly known as Lala, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the age of 54 in Ottawa, Ontario. She was surrounded by love and the care of dedicated staff who ensured her comfort in her final moments.

Lala was known for her warmth, gentle spirit, and a spark of feistiness that made her unforgettable. With a gentle heart and fierce spirit, Lala brought courage, humor, and strength into every day. Her love of music ran deep — it was part of who she was.

She was predeceased by her mother, Helen Farr ( Nee Cummings); father, Gerald Farr; stepmother, Nicole. Lovingly remembered by her uncle, Brian Farr, and family.

She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched. Though she is no longer with us in person, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

A memorial service to celebrate Lala’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Cole’s Funeral Home, Highland Park Cemetery, 2037 Mcgee Side Road, Carp, Ontario. Friends and family are warmly invited to attend and share stories, music, and memories of a truly beautiful soul.
