Obituary of Rajeev Sachdeva

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rajeev Sachdeva at the age of 67. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 42 years, Snigdha; his daughters, Manisha (Colm) and Vanita (Bruno); and his cherished grandchildren, Cian, Avi, and Arin. He is also remembered fondly by his sisters, Neena (Pritam) and Gita (Brian), along with his many nieces and nephews.

Rajeev was an avid traveler, a dedicated psychiatrist and a loving, supportive husband, father and grandfather. Generous and always eager to help, he placed his family above all else. He was a lifelong learner with a deep curiosity about the world and the people in it. He was known for his extraordinary memory and sharp wit.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 4th at 1:00pm at Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Royal Ottawa Hospital, where Rajeev proudly served for 25 years.
