Dear Patty, Corinne, Joey and Families,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. I have such vivid and fond childhood memories of “Mr. Nicoli”—always that unmistakable sparkle in his eyes and his energetic, purposeful walk. He just radiated a kind of joy and engagement with life that made him unforgettable.
One memory that still makes me smile is when he let Patty, Corinne, and me have our own “familia” spaghetti dinner upstairs in the playroom. Naturally, it ended in a full-blown food fight—spaghetti everywhere, including all over us. And yet, despite the mess, he stayed calm and good-natured. That moment has always stayed with me—it said so much about his warmth, patience, and quiet sense of humour.
May your dad live on in all your hearts and memories. I hope those memories bring comfort, and even a few smiles, in the days ahead.
