Obituary of Denis Dupont

Denis Joseph Dupont passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the age of 82 years. 

Dearly beloved husband of Estelle (McGuire) Dupont, loving father of Derek Dupont and Shelley Dupont Teskey and dear grandpa to his favourite grandchildren Nicholas and Jessica Teskey. 

Predeceased by his parents Fred and Cécilia (St. Cyr) Dupont and by his siblings Ron (late Anne), Madeleine Lamkie (late Ernest), Jean Loveless (late Murray), Muriel Ragaisis (late Conrad), René  and Donald. 

Survived by his brother Roger (Rosemary) and sister-in-law Mila Dupont and will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews and the McGuire family.

Denis was especially proud of his family and his years of service with Bell Canada (1961-1994).  He looked forward to going to the family cottage, golfing and playing old timers' hockey.  He especially favoured the Montreal Canadians.    

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Peter D. Clark LTC Centre in Ottawa for their exceptional care and compassion.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Maurice's Church, 4 Perry St on Friday, July 4th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will be served after Mass at St. Maurice's Parish.  Interment of ashes to take place at St. Joseph Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you forward an act of kindness to one another.
