Marilyn I was saddened to learn of Art's passing in Cross Talk. He was always so supportive with our Kanata Ecumenical Walk of the Cross on so many Good Friday's by his articles and photos. Art will be missed by all who knew him. May his memory be a blessing. Tom Flood

Art Babych was a wonderful colleague, a kind and compassionate man and generous in spirit. I enjoyed working with him when we were both on staff with the Diocese of Ottawa and loved seeing his photographs. He will be greatly missed! Today I thank God for him and extend my sincere condolences to his wife and family and all those whose lives he touched.

I am so sorry that I am not in the city and able to attend Art’s memorial service. I think of Art often. He was so talented, wise, dedicated to his craft, but even more important, caring of the people he worked with and those he might be interviewing or taking a photo. Art was the kind of guy I could always depend on and count on to be the very best he could be in his work and his relationships. I thank God for having the opportunity to work with Art and to be his friend.
Art, we thank God for your life and the many gifts you shared with so many.

Uncle Art was such a gift to our family, we spent many summers visiting with him. I am truly grateful for the time spent with him and Marilyn as they joined my mom Lily, and I in Moosejaw, and the visit we had in Ottawa in 2023. He was a gentle soul with the sweetest laugh and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Marilyn, Crystal and Darren. God bless.

Dear Marilyn - Wishing you peace at this very sad time. Always remember the words from that timeless book of wisdom, Winnie the Pooh:: 'You're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.' And I'm sure Art will always be with you.

Our beloved uncle Art has been such a blessing to our family. It is with great sadness, and also great joy to hear of his passing, knowing that he has now joined the rest of his family in Paradise.
Uncle Art was such a beautiful soul, so humble, so gentle, always caring.
Every summer was a highlight when he would come to Vancouver Island to visit all of us Babych’s. He would bring his guitar and we would all sing and play for hours.
He was an uncle we all highly respected, not only us kids but also my dad (James).
He will be greatly missed, but we will all be together one day again.
Thank you to all the family and may God bless you and comfort you during this time.
All my love,
Janice Babych
