My sincere condolences to the family. Gregg was my teammate in touch football for many years and he was an elite player and always played with enthusiasm, he was not only a teammate but a dear friend of mine. He helped me to be a better player but above all a better person. The memories of the time we spent together on many occasions are engraved in my mind but especially in my heart, I will miss his smile and his addictive humor. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Greg was an amazing gifted hockey player, I remember how fast he skated, also played against him. Always had a smile on his face. We went to High School together, he will be missed. My condolences to his family.

Meghan and family, I’m so sorry for your loss, my heart breaks for you. I worked with Greg at Longfields and he was one of the best EA’s I ever had the pleasure of working with. In our work world we joke with amazing colleagues- there is “US” and “THEM” and Greg was one of us! He was always up for shenanigans and had a cheeky smile that lit up a room. He could single handily snipe a staff in the back of the leg, with a hockey ball with precise accuracy, just for a laugh. There were three things Greg spoke fondly about regularly- you ,Meghan were his pride and joy. He just told me about your engagement party and wedding with so much joy. He was so proud when you went to University and loved to talk about your dance. The second and third thing he always regularly updated me on was his cat and of course hockey! Keep his memories close. This picture (2012) perfectly sums up Greg at work- always up to something (he was terrified of that snake so I got him good 5 seconds after this was taken lol). A great guy who will be missed immensely.

I'm giving you the biggest hug and keeping you all in my prayers...may God strengthen you, give you peace and surround you in love.
All the shared messages tell us he was quite the guy, that he lived fully and made his mark in this world. He gave us YOU after all.

My condolences to the Woito family. Such a great guy. Had lots of fun and good times with him. We also had lots of fun while both working at Clifford Bowey school back in the late 80's. Greg cared deeply for the welfare of special needs children. Good athlete and sports guy. May Greg rest in peace. He will be dearly missed.

To his family and friends,
I remember Greg back at Holy Rosary and Commerce...
Even though we may not have seen or talked to those that have passed for many years as Greg sadly has recently, you still remember the things that catch your eye about a certain individual...I remember him being the athlete, the one nobody can catch up to, his infectious smile and overall demeanour was uplifting anytime I got to talk to him. For those closer to him over the last several years, family and friends, I could only imagine how difficult a time this would be for you all and for that I am deeply sorry for your loss !
Rest in peace Greg

I worked with Greg for many years at CB. I got to play a little baseball with him too. Once during warm ups he absolutely rifled the ball at me on a rope. Catching it was as much about self defense to the point I thought I might have broken my hand! Looked over to see him laughing hysterically and I couldn’t help joining in. He was a hell of an athlete. My condolences to the family.

I knew Greg from the apartment building. I have a memory of him from a few years back when I had my foot in a cast and had to use crutches, he was so nice to take a few minutes to ask how I was doing with using the crutches. He was a very nice guy and he always gave a few minutes to have a bit of a chat. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of his family and friends at this time of such a loss. Always keep him in your memories and conversations. May Greg Rest in Peace.

I came to like Greg very much as a neighbour who was always friendly, always pleasant, and always smiling. When my dog passed away, Greg was incredibly sympathetic and supportive, and I have always appreciated how he helped me through my sadness. He was truly a kind man to me, and I will not forget Greg. I'm so sorry for your loss and mine.

So sad to hear of the heartbreaking news of Greg's passing. He was such a happy go lucky guy. Always smiling. I saw him last November at Carlingwood Mall buying his tickets.
My condolences go out to the family. May he RIP.
To a good friend.

There was no one like Ace and no one can ever be like him.
A great athlete who had no time for goofs!
As mischievous as the day is long. He loved to laugh and everyone loved to make him laugh!
As soon as I learned that Greg had passed away, I thought of a moment at a house party when I told him a joke and he laughed so hard that I thought he was going to explode.
He will be missed by so many for twice as many reasons. He filled out our life chapters with so many memories that will certainly stand the rest of time.
There is only one Ace. He will be missed. He will be remembered!
Rest in peace. Don't take any shit from any fucking goofs!
