Obituary of Lynne Neilsen

Lynne Neilsen , age 66, of Ottawa, passed away peacefully on May 3rd, 2015.

Born on November 17th, 1948, in Ottawa, she was the daughter of Bernadette and Gerard Collingwood. She married Norman Neilsen in September 1972, and together they built a life rooted in love, family, and faith.

Lynne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was known for her kind heart and wit. Her home was always open, and her heart even more so.

She is survived by her daughter Christine, her son Gerry (Catherine), her granddaughter Isabella, and her grandson Roberto. She was preceded in death by her mother Bernadette, her father Gerard, her sister Judy, and her brothers Paul (Suzanne) and Ted (Murielle).

Her family will remember her for her unwavering support, sharp sense of humor, and the warmth she brought to every gathering. Whether through her thoughtful advice, her infectious laughter, or the quiet strength she carried through life, Lynne left a lasting imprint on all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the love she gave and the values she passed down.
