Obituary of Zachary (Zak) John Radmore Erskine
It is with profound grief and sadness that the family of Zachary (Zak) John Radmore Erskine announces his sudden accidental passing.
Zak is the son of Louise Radmore, Gordon Erskine and stepson of Michael Snow.
Zak was only 28 years old but he crammed a lifetime into his time here. His impact on the lives of all he met, garnered him love & respect from all.
The greatest gift we were ever given was Carrie Tanner trusting me to be Zak’s Mom and we love her immensely.
Zak leaves behind his grandparents, Blair Erskine, Germaine Snow & Gilles Seguin, Don & MaryAnn Steggles & Diane & Murray MacBride. He was predeceased by this beloved Momma, (Christine Radmore), Lorne Radmore & Marilyn Erskine and his cousin Jamie Erskine.
His passing will be mourned by our entire Family of Choice including his step siblings Pascal & Gabrielle Snow and sister Kyla VanRoon.
We are thankful that Zak found the love of his life with Megan McDonald.
No one will miss him more than his Mom, Louise. They were the best of friends. Since the moment of his birth, they were an inseparable team of nutbars. Everyone who met either of us would have known this.
Zak was a graduate of Elmdale Public School, Nepean High and Dal University. His many passions included award winning bicycle racing, being a goalie with a wicked glove save ability, cooking & eating and he excelled at every sport he ever tried. He was exceptionally bright (learning chess at age 4), kinda quirky, extremely witty. Definitely one of a kind.
We will endeavour to focus on all that we had together, not what we have lost. We may not have him for the rest of our lives but he had us for his entire life and knew he was loved unconditionally..
