The very first time I met David he was greeted with my extremely oversized case and he took it up several steps for me ❤️ The funniest moment was when we tried to get two hotel rooms on our way back to Militza and David’s. There was only one room with two beds, he thought this was hilarious that he would be in a room with three women.
I hadn’t been back home to Canada in many decades. David carried my extremely large case, recommenced me a book and then put up with sleeping in a hotel room with 3 women (!!) - He and Militza made me feel like family and we made some great memories.
I know Cristina and Militza will give you a great send off, David.
I am still reading that book, and it’ll always remind me of you. God Bless you David love from Patsy Spring

We light a candle!
This memory is for my sister Militza ( Mimi), my nephew David Elias and Cristina (Nena). We came together to Canada in 1983. Our faith in the Lord's direction gave us strength.The Lord Jesus spoke to me, that we had to leave Venezuela. We took a leap of faith for our children's future.Then, we began an adventure that only could be written in a book. An epic story of faith and resilience.

David, you left an enduring mark on my life, one for which I will always be grateful. Tucker and I miss you dearly, and I take comfort in knowing that you did not have to endure a long period of suffering.
I will always remember our light-hearted exchanges about seafood. Whenever David brought fish for lunch, he made sure to mention it, and I would reply with a smile, “If it’s from the sea, let it be,” which never failed to bring us both a laugh.
Rest peacefully, my friend, and thank you for the meaningful years of friendship we were fortunate to share.
To Melitza and the entire family, please know that David spoke of you with deep pride and affection. He was a devoted husband and father, and his love for you was evident in every story he shared.

Dear Militza and family,
We feel so blessed to have known you and to share a small part of David's extraordinary life. We were truly looking forward to hosting you in Mauritius and planning those great fishing trips with David. Thank you so much for the care you gave our daughter since her arrival in Canada, and for being present with us each time we came to see her.

To Militza, David jr. and Christina ,
My deepest condolences and prayers are with u at this time. Love u all and David was a dear friend to me. God's ways are above our ways and that's why it's hard to understand such a loss to us.
