Obituary of Dr. John David Roberts

It is with great sadness that the Roberts family announces the passing of Dr. John David Roberts at the age of 83.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Donna, his daughter Dena (Clayton), and his grandsons Keith and Connor.  He is predeceased by his son Jason.

John was born in Toronto, Ontario and studied dentistry at McGill University where he graduated in 1971.  He practiced dentistry in Ottawa for 35 years in private practice and later at the Civic Hospital. 

John loved sailing in the Thousand Islands, skiing at Mont Tremblant and golfing in Myrtle Beach.  He richly recalled his travels to the Caribbean and Wales.

A celebration of John's life will take place on Friday, October 17th from 1 to 3pm at Highland Park Cemetery (2037 McGee Side Rd, Carp, Ontario).  Words of remembrance will be shared at 2:00 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, you are welcome to watch virtually — click here to join.
