Tom grew up in St. Catharines, attended Ridley College and graduated from the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture. He moved to Ottawa, working at Carleton University in the Buildings and Grounds department.
Tom enjoyed the outdoors, often hunting in the fall with his Dad in the Barry’s Bay and Combermere area. Tom loved the game of golf. He was a long-time member of Cedarhill Golf Course and spent much of his time in later years watching golf tournaments on tv. Tom led a quiet life with his family and dog, enjoying conversation with many neighbours in his home community of Arlington Woods. He will be missed by many who stopped to chat on a daily basis. In Tom’s memory, please take a quiet moment to say hello to a neighbour and catch up.
