Hi Catherine and Jake, We were heartbroken to hear this very sad news. Our hearts go out to both of you. We will miss Les at the golf course, his big smile, his enthusiasm and passion for the game. He always had kind words of encouragement for Andrew and was so proud of all the boys, most of all Jake. Big hugs to both of you and please call on us for anything, anytime. Julie and Andrew

On behalf of my husband Pat I wish to extend the deepest of sympathy to your family. I know Pat and Les were very close. It's sad that Pat is unable to send this himself as he is now living at Villa Marconi. He is no longer able to comprehend very much due to illness. On his behalf I send you so much love and the biggest of hugs. Louise

Les made my first set of golf clubs for me and was the reason I started my journey as a clubmaker. He was a mentor and a friend and always had time for anybody. I have long outgrown those clubs but my nephew still uses them.

Know that my thoughts are with you as you bid farewell to Les. The loss of a husband and father is especially poignant. Your histories forever linked. May the memories shared in honor of Les, the husband, the father, the advocate and the friend help to lessen the sadness of the days ahead. Les and I shared idyllic times. “B” has been and always will be cherished in my heart.
