Our time with Gerti will always be some of our fondest memories. She was always willing to teach a lesson and give advise - she taught me how to make spatzle and for that I will forever be grateful! Her words of wisdom were cherished. She once shared with Nate and I the value in ‘drinking the good wine and eating the good food while you can.’ We think of that often.
