Obituary of Dusan Duris

It is with immense sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Dusan Duris on May 31st, 2020 at the young age of 58. Dusan was a loving and devoted father and husband, who dedicated his life to his family and his work. He had a huge heart and touched the lives of every person who knew him. Dusan is survived by his wife Renata; daughters Rebecca and Veronica; brothers Jaroslav, Milan, and Jozef; goddaughters Petra and Dominika; mother-in-law Maria; sister-in-law Magdalena; and sister-in-law Marika along with her family. A private family funeral was held, and a celebration of life will be held for anyone wishing to attend once Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted. For those wishing to do so, we ask that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in Dusan’s name to the Ottawa Heart Institute.
