Sorry to read of Jamie’s death. I met Jamie in 1980 in the first year of the industrial design program at Carleton where we were both in the engineering stream. Jamie was a good guy. Very quiet and courteous. He often hung out with another student, Rod Muir. A year ago I ran into him in the cycling area at Mountain Equipment Co-op. I knew instantly he looked familiar and then it clicked. We spoke briefly, recalling first year at Carleton 39 years prior. I noticed that Jamie was one month older than me. Sorry for your loss.
