Obituary of Allan William Ashbrook

Retired Vice-President – Resources & Technology, Eldorado Nuclear Ltd.

Passed away peacefully at home on March 17, 2011, with his wife and children at his side. Treasured husband of 59 years to Marjorie. Loving father to his three daughters Susan Ashbrook, Christine Villeneuve (Rock), Valerie Ventola (Sab). Proud and loving grandfather of Stephen Denis, Elizabeth and Kristofer Villeneuve, Michael, Lisa and Hailey Ventola and great granddaughter Paige Denis. Predeceased by his parents, William and Mabel and brother Ron. Remembered by brother Peter (Suzanne), brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, all in England.

Many thanks to the caring staff at the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre, especially Dr. Yarom and Hazel, the nurses and staff at Bayshore Home Health and special thanks Dr. Paul Hacker and Dr. Lisa Cross for their kind and loving care.

Visitation at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road on Friday, March 25, 2011, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Memorial service at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel, reception to follow.
