Olga, Costa and Eleni, we want to express our deepest condolences to you and all of the family. Our hearts go out to you all. Angelo was well loved by so many and missed here in Kelowna. We will never forget all the wonderful (so many fun road trips) time we shared together when Costa and Mason played hockey in Kelowna. Also the time we got to know you all when they were not on the ice. Angelo was such a supportive coach for all the boys. So thoughtful, kind, big smile and caring man. We will definitely miss him. We are truly sorry for your loss. Big Hugs – Karen and Mason Hodgson

Zoi se Sas! I had the pleasure of first meeting Angelo in 2005 at Depot. He was only a few weeks away from graduating and I remember him taking me out to dinner that night. We were both Greek boys from Ottawa and we just clicked from the start! Our paths would cross again only a few years later when we were both working in Ottawa. Even though we hadn't seen one another in years, our friendship continued. If Angelo was in a bad mood, I would never have known it. He was always smiling; he was always so positive; he always had something encouraging to say to me. I looked up to him like a big brother. One thing is for certain, for Angelo, family ALWAYS came first. Period. We lost touch after I transferred to another unit. But I remember running into him in the summer of 2019 at (yep, you guessed it) a Starbucks! We sat and had a coffee together. It was at this time he told me the severity of his illness, and even then he said it without fear or anger. He had a lot of life still to live. The tough son of a gun he was, his determination, his stubbornness, whatever you want to call it, he put up a courageous fight. To his wife and children, may the Lord grant you the peace, love and strength you need moving forward with your lives. To Costa and Eleni, you have the honour now of being your father's legacy! It is clear to see that Ange left a positive mark on so many people. You will be deeply missed. Kaló parádeiso! May your memory be Eternal!

My deepest condolences, I worked several years with Angelo on the Hill. He greeted me on the first day I arrived. On our first conversation we spoke of food and life in BC. We bonded immediately. We were both on he same wavelength. Angelo enjoyed the little things in life. His roots, food, coffee, laughing and most his family. The biggest thing I’ll remember of him and that of which he thought me the most is being a 'Men of Honor'. Be respectful of people and they’ll respect you back. That was Angelo. I’ll miss you. I was so deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Angelo. My friendship with the family, Nick, Helen and Bess, though our years at Laurentian High school, is how I met Angelo. Angelo was in my younger sisters age group, but I did get to know him through my aforementioned friendships with his brother and cousins. Please accept my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Angelo’s wife, children and entire family. Safe passage dear Angelo. May you Rest in Eternal Peace. God Bless you all! ☦️❤️

To Angelo’s family, please accept my sincerest condolences for the loss of one of the funniest and nicest guys I have ever met, your beloved Angelo. Brings tears to my eyes knowing how hard he fought, but now he will be all of his family’s guardian angel and that I hope, will give you all some sort of peace. I will never forget Ange’s infectious smile, his whole face lit up. We were good friends back in the day. I hadn’t seen Ange in years but he was never and never will be forgotten. May his memory be a blessing to you all, I know it will be for me and my brother Peter. Sincerely, Jody

Karen and myself want to offer our most sincere condolences to the Georgitsos family. We transferred to Ottawa in 2015 and Angelo was one of the first person to greet us with open arms like family. Angelo helped me get my footing in Ottawa and "had a guy" for pretty much any issue or problem I needed resolved. I will remember fondly our conversations on pretty much anything, capable of calming anyone and leaving you with a smile. I've never seen a man this dedicated to his work and his family. He will be missed.

It is with great sadness that I heard my friend Angelo “ju jit su” has passed. I know first hand the battle he fought. I ran into him a couple months back at the hospital and despite his health and pain he found the way to make me laugh. He was a great member and never in a bad mood a perfect guy for a supervisor. For his family I wish you courage to move forward and please accept my most sincere condolence.
