Obituary of Gregory Malcolm Wallace Colquhoun

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Greg on February 3, 2021, at the age of 62.

Greg grew up in Ottawa and attended Sir Robert Borden, where he played football and competed in the all-Ontario track meet. He loved to camp and take his bicycle on road trips. Greg was a traveler and made many trips around Western Canada and lived most of his adult life in Ottawa. Greg had many hobbies that included reading, music, football, and fashion. Greg was a friend to everyone he met, had a nickname for those he cared for.

Greg was a very intuitive, courageous, gentle spirit with a kind and generous heart. He will be remembered for his love for family, friends and God. His innate sense of humour and his incredible ability to remember everything was very endearing and adored by many. Greg treated everyday like an adventure, living each day in the moment. He was the most patient and forgiving human being. Greg will be sadly missed for his wonderful and strong character.  Greg touched the lives of everyone he met.

Greg is survived by his mother Mary Hanlan and stepfather Ned, brother Dan (Erlyn), Sisters Marilyn  Colquhoun-Petersen and Tracey Lessard.  Uncle of Jessica DeMelo, Graeme and Imahgynne Petersen, Sabrina, Kai and Jacob Colquhoun, grand uncle to Aidan, Owen, and Brooklyn DeMelo, and many family friends including Tim, Mario and Patrick. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
