Obituary of Jarlath Anthony Connaughton

Passed away in hospital on Friday, June 11^th 2021 at the age of seventy two. Beloved husband of Margaret Connaughton  for 50 years. Loving father of Kathleen Slevin, Debbie O’Toole, Anna Reid, Peter Connaughton and Lisa Byrne. Cherished grandfather of Sean, Rachel, Jennifer, Kelly, Sarah, Aimee, Debbie, Abigail, Anthony, Ciaran, Henric, Lachlan, Jada, Lara and Great grandfather of Eva. Dear brother of Frances, Clare, Desmond and Geraldine. He will be missed by many family and friends.

Devoted husband, loving father, friend to many, coach, volunteer and mentor. His kind eyes and gentle demeanor will be sadly missed by those who had the pleasure of meeting him. He leaves behind a legacy that will inspire people to love, be kind, laugh and cherish every moment you have with those who matter most.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. One that is befitting of the man he was and one that we can all enjoy together. “Happy Friday everyone.”
