Our deepest sympathies go out to Lisa, Luke, and the entire Richardson family. Glen will really be missed at the cottage. We always enjoyed visiting him on his deck and hearing old hockey and Shawville stories. The sound of Valley heritage radio coming from his cottage would grow on you and represented the relaxed pace of being at the cottage. He always had words of wisdom on many topics, and you could tell that he had a life of many friendships. He had a life well lived, that impacted many people and made the world a better place.
Sincerely, Jim and Carol Moore

To Luke and Family
My condolences in the passing of your father. I'm not sure if I ever got the chance to meet him but from what I've read he was an icon in the community, especially Ottawa West.
God Bless Him!

So sorry to hear about Glen. Our condolences to Lisa, Luke and the rest of the family. My Mom Jean Devine always talked so fondly of both Glen and Sally. So many memories of your family especially since our grandparents (Alex and Annie) lived upstairs on Avondale.

If it wasn’t for Glen my hockey career would have ended after minor hockey. He not only vouched for me to make the OWGK Jr.B team but, from what I heard :) ,elegantly “forced”the coach to choose me. God bless that decision as it helped turn an immature boy to a confident young man. I remember in one of the first games of my rookie season my dad telling me that Glen said “ya got one tough kid there” after a little “dance” I had with a tough vet from Ott.South (still have the scar to prove it). Thanks Glen, you impacted my life positively and did for countless others. You’ll be missed.

Our heartfelt condolences to Luke, Lisa and all the extended family on the passing of Glen. A great man. Met through the Golden Knights hockey circle in the 80s, but parents knew each other many years prior, in those high school days. Thinking of you in this time of loss. Take care. ....Ross & Jennifer Timlin
