Obituary of Robert Alexander Labossiere

Bob passed away peacefully at his residence  (Carling View Manor)  where he was a resident for four years. Our heart felt thanks to the staff of his residence for all their hard work and kindness.  

Bob was pre-deceased by his mother and father, (Laura Benham/ Etienne Labossiere) and his guardian angel (Hector Seto). He is survived by his two brothers; Tony and Steve, his two sisters-in-law; Joanne and Pamela, his nieces and nephews; Ivy-Dawn, Sydney, Nicolas and Wilson.

Bob grew up in Wychwood (Aylmer) with its cottage environment and acres of woods filled with birds. From an early age he would wander the woods by himself. It was there he nurtured his lifelong passion of ornithology. The solitary roaming suited his nature. He was always more at home in the forest with his birds than in a room full of people.

He will be sadly missed by those who knew him.  There will be a private gathering as per his wishes and  donations can be made in his name to the “Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Care Center”
