Obituary of Gwenneth Dowd

Gwenneth Deda Dowd (nee Baker), 96, of Kemptville, Ontario, passed away from natural causes on Tuesday November 2, 2021. 

Gwen’s energetic personality will be remembered with love, long after her passing. She  was precious to her family and friends, admired for her tenacity and will be deeply missed by all of those who knew her.

Gwen was predeceased by her husbands Leonard Norman Fresque (MIA WWII) and Joseph Eric Dowd. She is survived by her twin sister Verna Hughes, brother John Baker, sons Anthony (Nancy), Richard (Marsha), four grandchildren Matthew, Rodney, Ryan (Paula), Amanda (Mike) and seven great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend its profound thanks and deepest gratitude to the staff of Kemptville Retirement Living and Champlain Home Care, who provided remarkable care and support to Gwen and family during the final months of her long life.
